The news of Dependent's relaunch after a year and a half of self-imposed hiatus caused quite a stir. Now, the label is back with Septic VIII. It was already in January 1999 that Septic I kicked off the success story of Dependent. Curated by Dependent head Stefan Herwig, the Septic series has been offering the perfect mix of promising electro-EBM newcomers and unreleased tracks from well-known scene acts for 10 years now. Septic VIII once again brings together a wealth of fresh sounds from all corners and some big names. At a time when many people are losing track amidst the multitude of Myspace bands, Septic VIII will prove to be a welcome and ideal guide.
