Gentle Tape is a particularly skin-friendly variant of our hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive. It is especially suitable for children, pregnant women, and elderly individuals. Rocktape was developed to meet the demands and needs of therapists and medical professionals in therapy. The outstanding properties of Rocktape result from the tightly woven structure of the tape, which consists of 97% cotton and 3% high-tech synthetic fiber. This composition gives Rocktape a stretchability of up to 180% of its original length and allows it to retract to its original length without losing elasticity. Thus, Rocktape mimics the identical properties of human skin. If the tape did not possess this elasticity, it would lose its effectiveness on the skin after a short time and become unnecessary. The adhesive used for Rocktape is made from a pure acrylic blend, making it free from latex, silicone, and zinc. The adhesive contains 30% more acrylic (the same adhesive used in commercial bandages) than conventional tapes on the market. This makes them extremely durable, even under extreme stress from sweat and water.
