It is a nice device, but with a huge downside. It requires an Apple iPod, iPhone, or iPad with iOS 5.0 or greater. The iOS device is needed to use the bluetooth connection, and to configure the wifi connection. Once the wifi connection is established, the measurements are available on the withings website, and can be viewed on the Android app.
Pro
- If you have an Apple device, it works wonderfully.
Contra
- If you don't have Apple devices, you won't be able to configure it.
- If you don't have Apple devices, the features are not worth the price.

Would be a great scale... but...
I bought this scale because of the iOS integration (weight check) and unfortunately this is exactly what doesn't work as the app is no longer compatible with iOS 11 (Withings has merged with NOKIA https://www.derbund.ch/digital...).

Functional as a simple baby/child scale without integration - too expensive for that then....
Too bad - will be returned...Pro
- Can be used not only for babies but later also for toddlers (up to 25kg)
