Proclear Multifocal Toric

Proclear Multifocal Toric by Coopervision are soft monthly contact lenses. They are made from Omafilcon A with a water content of 59% and are designed to simultaneously correct astigmatism and presbyopia. While astigmatism can occur at any age, presbyopia is caused by a decreasing flexibility of the eye's lens, which typically becomes noticeable around the age of 40 to 50. People affected by both forms of visual impairment see both distant and near objects as blurry or distorted. Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses allow for clear vision at all distances and contribute to a comfortable daily life.

The lenses contain the bionic substance phosphorylcholine, which is tissue-compatible and commonly used in medicine. Due to the special properties of the biocompatible material, the lenses are very well tolerated and do not cause a foreign body sensation. A special manufacturing process binds water molecules to the lens material, creating a natural resistance to drying out. As a result, the contact lenses are very comfortable to wear and remain moist and hydrated even during extended wear.

Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses can be worn during the day and are easy to clean, as dirt particles and proteins hardly deposit on the non-ionic lens surface. The monthly lenses only need to be replaced every 30 days.
