Proclear Multifocal Toric

Proclear Multifocal Toric by Coopervision are soft monthly contact lenses. They are made of Omafilcon A with a water content of 59% and are designed to correct both astigmatism (irregular cornea) and presbyopia (age-related vision loss) simultaneously. While astigmatism can occur at any age, presbyopia is caused by a decreasing flexibility of the eye's lens and typically becomes noticeable around the age of 40 to 50. Individuals affected by both types of vision impairment not only see distant objects blurred, but nearby objects also appear hazy or distorted.

The Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses allow for clear vision at all distances and contribute to a hassle-free daily life. Coopervision's XR series expands the available correction range, so even those with severe vision impairments can benefit from the Proclear product line.

Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses contain the bionic substance phosphorylcholine, which is tissue-compatible and commonly used in medicine. Thanks to the special properties of this biocompatible material, the lenses are very well tolerated and do not cause any foreign body sensation. A unique manufacturing process bonds water molecules with the lens material, creating a natural resistance to drying out. The contact lenses are comfortable to wear and remain moist and hydrated even during extended wear times.

Proclear Multifocal Toric can be worn during the day and are easy to clean, as dirt particles and proteins hardly accumulate on the non-ionic lens surface. These monthly lenses only need to be replaced every 30 days.
