While astigmatism can occur at any age, presbyopia is caused by a decreasing flexibility of the eye's lens and typically becomes noticeable around the ages of 40 to 50. The Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses contain the bionic substance phosphorylcholine, which is tissue-compatible and commonly used in medicine. Due to the special properties of the biocompatible material, the lenses are very well tolerated and do not cause a foreign body sensation. A special manufacturing process bonds water molecules with the lens material, creating a natural resistance to drying out. As a result, the contact lenses are very comfortable to wear and remain moist and hydrated even during extended wear.

Proclear Multifocal Toric can be worn during the day and are easy to clean, as dirt particles and proteins hardly deposit on the non-ionic lens surface. The monthly lenses only need to be replaced every 30 days.
