The unique chemical structure of MyDay daily lenses creates a network of silicone channels that allow oxygen to pass through much more efficiently. This means that less silicone material is needed to achieve the desired oxygen permeability. The silicone network permits a higher proportion of hydrophilic material, resulting in a contact lens that combines the best of both the hydrogel and silicone hydrogel worlds. Optimal water content: A naturally wettable surface without surface coatings or added wetting agents. Optimal modulus: Soft like hydrogel contact lenses with the handling of silicone hydrogel contact lenses. High oxygen permeability: Ideal for extended wear.
