The Merkur 39C safety razor effortlessly cuts through even the thickest or toughest beards. It is a heavy, long, two-piece razor that weighs 111 grams and has an overall length of 96 mm. It features Merkur's fantastic slanted head. The Merkur 39C is the significantly larger brother of the Merkur 37C razor. The slanted head twists the razor blade to expose more blade at one end, making it even more efficient for cutting your beard. The slanted head, combined with the weight of this razor, makes it an aggressive shaver, so you don’t need to apply pressure to achieve a super-smooth shave. The chrome-plated handle has a barber pole design with downward-twisted knurling for a good grip. The handle ends in a solid knob that can be turned to release the top plate of the razor for blade changes on this two-piece razor. If you have a coarse, wiry beard and more sensitive skin, this razor could be ideal for you.
