The callus file made from Swiss beech wood (FSC certified) is largely handcrafted. The wood from cultivated forests is very stable and shape-retaining, coated with a water-based lacquer that provides optimal protection against water and alcoholic substances. Do not soak the file in water or an alcoholic solution; only briefly dip it. The different sanding sheets, 60 and 100 grit, are antimicrobial and sanitized-treated. This provides lasting protection against microbial infestation. The formation of unpleasant odors and the degradation of the material are permanently prevented.
