The callus file made from Swiss beech wood (FSC-certified) is largely handcrafted. The wood from cultivated forests is very stable and shape-retaining, coated with a water-based lacquer that provides optimal protection against water and alcoholic substances. Do not soak the file in water or an alcoholic solution; instead, just dip it briefly. The different sanding sheets, with grits of 60 and 100, are antimicrobial and sanitized-treated. This provides lasting protection against microbial infestation. It permanently prevents the formation of unpleasant odors and the deterioration of the material.
