The Insti HIV Self-Test is designed as a single-use HIV test kit that allows you to conveniently obtain results from the comfort of your home at a time that suits you. Simply try, pour, and read your results immediately. It's that easy. The test uses a simple flow technology to detect HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies with a drop of human fingerstick blood. The test is intended for untrained laypersons as a self-test to facilitate the diagnosis of an HIV-1 and HIV-2 infection using a small drop (50 μl) of blood obtained through fingerstick collection procedures.
