The Hartmann ES dressing type 17 is a high-quality, sterile wound dressing specially developed for absorbing exudates and cleansing wounds. These folded compresses are made of 100 % cotton and are manufactured in a 12-ply design, which ensures high absorbency. The compresses are hydrophilic and bleached for optimal application. The edges are turned inwards, minimising the risk of loose threads. These compresses are packaged in a sterilisable paper pouch, making them safe and hygienic for use in medical applications. They are suitable for use in specialised medical applications and meet the requirements of medical device class IIa.
