Fusion 1-Day is an innovative contact lens developed with a special Fusion technology. It offers longer tear film stability, high wearing comfort, and is particularly thin. The image quality is enhanced by correcting spherical aberration. With a water content of 60 percent and a slight blue tint, this lens is specifically designed for people with sensitive eyes.
The Fusion 1-Day contact lens by Conil is made from Filcon IV material and utilizes a special patented process known as Fusion technology. This involves cross-linking tamarind seed polysaccharide (TSP) and the natural tear substitute hyaluron within the lens material. This ensures a continuous tear film and reduces mechanical friction between the lens and eyelid, even after many hours of wear. This effectively prevents dryness and eye fatigue.
Thanks to modern manufacturing technologies, the contact lens has a center thickness of only 0.05 millimeters at -3.00 diopters, resulting in very high wearing comfort. Additionally, the imaging properties are optimized to provide a better visual experience. Physically, lenses exhibit spherical aberration, which can affect the representation of objects outside the focus range. However, in the case of Fusion 1-Day, this sharpness error is corrected during the manufacturing process, significantly improving the imaging properties of the daily contact lens.
