The Evial menopause test measures the FSH concentration in the urine. This can be used to detect whether the body is producing an excess of FSH. This is the signal that the body is in the menopause or perimenopause. When performing the test, the absorbent tip is held in the urine stream or immersed in the urine. After a few minutes, the result can be read with the help of the coloured lines that appear.

Instructions for use | Morning urine is recommended for testing. Morning urine contains the largest amount of hormones and is therefore the most reliable. If menstruation is still monthly, the 1st test is carried out within the first week of the menstrual cycle (day 2-7, with day 1 being the first day of menstruation). The 2nd test is then carried out one week later. If your period is no longer regular, the 1st test can be carried out at any time of the month and the 2nd test can be carried out the following week. |
