Product details
There are many pathologies associated with the knee in sports, including chronic patellar tendinitis, external knee tendinitis, patellofemoral syndrome, iliotibial band syndrome, kneecap subluxation, chondromalacia patellae (runner's knee), and various forms of patellofemoral chondropathy. The list is extensive. A doctor or trainer may recommend a rest period before resuming activity, but concerns often remain. Proprioceptive Epitheliumflex 01 Knee Pads can help you return to your sport without issues. You are likely to forget that you are even wearing them.
Features: The knee support addresses two complementary factors:
- Support Action: Wearing the Physiostrap Flex 01 helps relieve patella disorders such as patella syndrome, patellar instability, and patellar tendinitis. In cases of knee injuries that result in sequelae like fragile ligaments or arthritis, it contributes to joint stability when resuming sports activities.
- Stabilizing Action: Epitheliumflex combines a patented silicone support tendon with high-performance Reflex compression fabric to enhance kneecap support and knee stability.
Specificity: The Physiostrap Flex 01 acts dynamically without restricting movement, making it suitable for prevention as it helps preserve muscle mass.
Ergonomics: This concentrated technology, weighing less than 60g, was specifically designed for sports use (for both pain relief and prevention). It does not slip and does not cause discomfort behind the knee. Being ultra-lightweight and extra thin, it can be worn under all types of clothing.
Presentation: The Physiostrap Flex 01 is sold individually.
Contraindications: To ensure that blood circulation is not impeded, do not use if you have arteritis, severe varicose veins, sequelae of phlebitis, or edema (lymphatic/venous) in the lower leg and/or thigh. Do not use with compression stockings or on a skin lesion.
