The 5 mm thick heel pads made from Physio'chocTM provide cushioning for the impacts caused by heel strikes and reduce foot sole tension by lifting the heel. The incorporation of the silicone gel EpitheliumTM adds extra comfort. The heel pads are secured in the shoe with double-sided adhesive tape and are not washable. Epithelium 26 is a patented silicone gel by medical foot care specialists, whose properties resemble certain human tissues. The heel pads are available for both men and women and offer relief from pain associated with heel spurs (plantar fasciitis).
