The modern Dailies Total 1 daily disposable contact lenses from Alcon are characterised by a silicone hydrogel material with a globally unique water gradient and SmarTears technology. The water gradient provides the customer with a hydrophilic surface with 80% water content, which supplies the eye with moisture throughout the day. There is also an extremely oxygen-permeable core inside the material with a water content of 33%, which ensures optimum oxygen supply. The SmarTears technology releases substances to stabilise the tear film during wear.
