Product details

The Cutimed Sorbact dressings, measuring 7x9 cm, are an innovative solution for wound care based on Sorbact technology. These dressings are coated with a special DACC™ layer that binds bacteria and fungi without the use of additional chemicals. This promotes wound healing and minimizes the risk of infections. The high absorbency of the dressings ensures efficient absorption of wound exudate, supporting the healing of both chronic and acute wounds. They are suitable for both home wound care and use in medical facilities. The package contains five dressings that are easy to handle and ensure gentle treatment of the skin.

  • Promotes wound healing through bacteria-binding technology
  • No additional chemicals required
  • High absorbency for effective wound care.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
- Prepare the wound and surrounding skin according to appropriate clinical practice. - Select a dressing of an appropriate size for the wound. The dressing can be folded to the appropriate size and may extend beyond the wound edges if required. - Remove the dressing from the bag, taking care to use a sterile removal technique. - Use aseptic techniques when cutting the dressing. The dressing must not be torn. Dispose of unused dressing. - Apply the dressing. Ensure that the dressing has direct contact with the entire wound surface so that microorganisms can adhere to the dressing. For deep wounds, unfold one or more dressings, loosen and fill the wound. Avoid filling too tightly. The dressing can also be used as a liner. - Apply a secondary dressing appropriate to the exudate level, e.g. a foam dressing, an absorbent wound pad or a gel fibre dressing, and secure in place. - The frequency of dressing changes depends on the exudate level and the overall condition of the wound and wound environment. If the clinical condition allows, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. Removal If the dressing adheres to the wound, moisten the dressing to facilitate removal and avoid disrupting wound healing.
