Product details

The D-RING thumb wrist support has been specially developed to ensure optimum stabilisation and partial immobilisation of the thumb. The corresponding plastic splints ensure that the remaining fingers of the hand remain free to move. Depending on requirements, the thumb support can be customised with a long or short thumb splint.

The latex-free spacer mesh fabric is temperature-regulating and ensures a comfortable fit. The inside of the support is softly padded and has a practical pull-on aid that makes it much easier to put the support on.
The lightweight, anatomically pre-shaped aluminium splint can easily be individually adjusted if required. The wrist is additionally stabilised with two lateral plastic splints, while short and long pre-shaped plastic splints provide better guidance for the thumb. This enables a gradual transition of support.

Application: Osteoarthritis, collateral ligament lesion of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb
