Product details

The AFTR DC is made from hook-and-loop compatible material, allowing for a customized fit with each use. This is particularly important for swollen ankles following surgery or a traumatic injury. As the swelling in the foot decreases, the patient can adjust the brace each time for comfortable compression. The brace is designed to wrap around the foot and ankle, making it easy to fit into most athletic shoes and sandals, unlike a standard lace-up ankle brace. Every foot is different, which is why the fabric with the base sleeves is fully trimmable. It is recommended to trim the end of the brace so that the ball of the patient's foot is comfortably accommodated. You can also shorten the wraparound flaps and the top of the brace for even more adjustments.
