The mobile ECG device is characterized by its user-friendly one-button operation. Measurements can be taken using two methods. Either by placing the device about 5 cm below the heart on the left chest, ensuring that a finger touches the two contact surfaces on the top. This method records via chest-arm-hand. The alternative measurement method involves both arms, recording through hand-arm-torso-arm-hand. The recording duration is 30 seconds. The Beurer ME80 is powered by a lithium-ion battery. The battery status indicator informs about the charge level of the battery. There are over 99 memory slots available with a USB interface. It is particularly suitable for individuals at increased health risk due to high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, Type I and II diabetes, family history, obesity, lack of exercise, heavy tobacco use, previous heart attacks, and/or strokes.
