Cream foundations are available in different versions. Creamy compact foundations and foundations in stick form can be applied directly from the container onto the skin. A cream foundation in a tube or bottle should be placed on the hand before application and picked up from there with a make-up sponge or brush. Body heat makes it easier to spread the foundation over the skin. Always apply the cream foundation to the skin from the centre of the face using circular movements. If areas of the face require more coverage, you can then work it in with a brush using tapping motions. This is also a good way to treat areas of the face that are often in motion.
