3M Tegaderm Foam Polyurethane Foam 5.1 x 5.1

Tegaderm Foam is a rapidly absorbing soft foam dressing designed for targeted fluid management of exuding wounds and is coated with breathable Tegaderm film.

Features:

• Highly absorbent polyurethane foam dressing that does not swell, thus preventing tissue stress
• Quick and high absorption capacity, ensuring effective exudate management and minimal risk of maceration
• Outer Tegaderm film prevents wound contamination from the outside and the penetration of wound exudate
• Maintains a moist wound environment

Indications:

• Ideal for moderately to heavily exuding wounds
• Can be combined with Tegaderm Alginate
• Venous, arterial, mixed, and diabetic leg ulcers
• Pressure ulcers (localized damage to the skin and/or underlying tissue, usually over bony prominences, due to pressure)
• Abrasions

No known contraindications.

Application: Center Tegaderm Foam over the wound. The dressing should overlap the intact skin by about 2.5 cm. Secure with a secondary dressing (e.g., 3M Tegaderm Roll). 1 piece in a sterile peel pack, 10 pieces = 1 box.
