1. Tamiya Verduenner

X-20A thinner 250ml acrylic TAMIYA X-20A acrylic thinner is the perfect choice for thinning TAMIYA acrylic paints. It is formulated to prevent TAMIYA acrylic paints from fading or staining after paint application and drying. Furthermore, the thinner is also ideally suited for cleaning airbrush spraying equipment (paint cups, needles and nozzles) and brushes (For natural hair brushes, use Brush Conditioner (300087181) after cleaning for maintenance). When using airbrush sprayers (depending on the nozzle used, 0.25 - 0.50mm), a mixing ratio of 1:2 - 1:3 (1 part paint : 2 or 3 parts thinner) is ideal. Contents: 250 ml TAMIYA X and XF acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for brush painting or for application with airbrush sprayers. These paints can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood, as well as all common model plastics. For better adhesion, we recommend prior priming (TAMIYA Primer e.g. 300087044 Primer White) of the material in question. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and is easy to mix. Before curing, the paint can be washed away with normal water. - Colors marked "X" have a glossy finish, while those marked "XF" are matte. - For use with airbrush sprayers (0.25 - 0.50mm depending on the nozzle used), the X-/XF paints should be thinned with TAMIYA X-20A Acrylic Thinner (300081020, 300081030 or 300081040). - The X-/XF paints can also be thinned with TAMIYA Lacquer Thinner (300087077). This gives a faster drying result and a harder surface finish. - Adding TAMIYA Paint Retarder (300087114) will give you a smoother paint surface after drying (max. mixing ratio 1:10). Signal word Danger Hazard statements: - H226 Flammable liquid and vapor.

2. Tamiya Polishing compound

It can also be used to polish out scratches from transparent plastic parts. Repeat this process until you have achieved the desired result. For application and polishing use the original TAMIYA Polishing Cloths 300087090. For further applications the following TAMIYA Polishing Compounds are available: 300087068 Polishing Compound Coarse/Groh (for heavy paint inclusions). 300087070 Polishing Compound Finish (fine particles / polish out the slightest inclusions / give the final coat of paint or clearcoat a special deep gloss).
