Wittmax 1:48 F-35B Lightning II

The JSF program (Joint Strike Fighter) was initiated to develop a new, multifunctional fifth-generation combat aircraft for all weather conditions, intended to serve as a suitable replacement for the current ground attack aircraft of the United States and NATO countries. From this project emerged the single-seat Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. Equipped with exceptional technology, it features an aerodynamic design with stealth capabilities and trapezoidal wings. It was designed for air superiority missions, close air support, and ground attacks, with its airframe being realizable in various configurations. The F-35B was developed for vertical takeoff and landing, as well as for operation on aircraft carriers, thanks to its STOVL (Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing) capabilities. Also used by the U.S. Marine Corps, it is equipped with an engine from Pratt & Whitney with an afterburner and a downward-tilting thrust nozzle. The extreme operational flexibility, the high payload it can carry, the onboard technology, and the strong innovation of the project make the F-35 Lightning II a prominent player in 21st-century military aviation.
