Product details
The display model is a replica of the A6M3 Zero Fighter T32 Hamp. Over the years, much has been written about the Japanese Zero Fighter Aircraft series. Much of it was based on hearsay and legends, with little grounded in fact. Even the Allied forces and governments initially refused to acknowledge their existence, and when they received a copy, they could hardly believe the performance it delivered. The Type 32 Zero had the most radical change in the entire series and was easily recognizable by its square wingtips. This reduced the overall wingspan to exactly 11 meters and eliminated the cumbersome folding tips that took time to bring the aircraft into carrier elevators during combat. The larger Sakae 21 engine gave the Type 32 better climb rate, and the shorter wingspan reduced flight forces and increased maneuverability.
