Tamiya Vought F4U-1D Corsair

The stand model is a replica of a US fighter aircraft named Vought F4U-1D Corsair, which is being towed by a BNO-25. The Corsair was the first US fighter plane capable of reaching a speed of 644 km/h. Due to its initial difficulties, it required some revisions, as the long nose under the canopy obstructed visibility, among other issues. These weaknesses were addressed in the F4U-1D version.

This is a detailed model kit in 1:48 scale. The high-quality kit from TAMIYA must be assembled independently. The assembly process is supported by a step-by-step or illustrated instruction manual, which is included in the package. Based on the assembly instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be put together. Painting of the parts can be done according to personal preferences.
