Description: 1:12 Tyrell 003 - Monaco GP 1971

The Tyrrell team made its Formula 1 debut in 1968 with the Matra Ford and quickly achieved outstanding results, including a Drivers' Championship for Jackie Stewart in the following season. Starting from the 11th race of the 1970 season in Canada, the team introduced the self-designed 001, paving the way for the 003 and 002 cars driven by Stewart and François Cevert in 1971. While the unique integrated front wing and nose design, with a radiator directly underneath, stood out, the 003 otherwise utilized an orthodox, reliable setup. Stewart secured 6 wins in 11 races, including the Monaco GP, which was more than sufficient for the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships that season. Now, the car is immortalized in 1/12 scale by Tamiya.
