The stand model in 1:48 scale is a replica of the famous P-51 Mustang fighter aircraft from World War II. This aircraft was one of the best fighters of the US Air Force at the time. Among the various variants of this model, the P-51D is considered the original Mustang fighter and was the first production version with the famous "bubble" canopy. A total of 9,603 units of this model were produced, more than all other variants combined. The last deployments of the Mustangs took place in 1956 during the Middle East conflict.
