Tamiya P-51B Mustang

The stand model is a replica of the North American P-51B Mustang aircraft. The engine of this aircraft was derived from the original P-51A Apache engine, which was used for the ground attack and photo reconnaissance aircraft RAF Mustang 1. In 1940, the Packard Motor Company began licensed production of the Merlin V-1650-1 engine, which was powered by a new compressor and was used in the first P-51B version of the Mustang.
