The model kit is a replica of the P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback, the first single-seat fighter equipped with a supercharger and a 2000-horsepower engine. The P-47D escorted Allied bombers and conducted raids over Germany. Its 1-ton payload and robustness made the Thunderbolt the perfect aircraft for ground attacks. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its precision fit and attention to detail.
