Tamiya Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero (Zeke)

The stand model is a replica of the Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero, also known as the "Zeke." From the beginnings of the Second Sino-Japanese War until the end of hostilities in the Pacific, the Mitsubishi Zero served as the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The A6M2b fighter aircraft was equipped with 50 cm folding wingtips, a tailhook, and a radio direction finder for carrier-based operations. The A6M2b was flown by experienced pilots and participated in daring operations such as Pearl Harbor, as well as the attack and invasion of the Philippines.
