The stand model is a replica of the British infantry tank Matilda MK. III/IV.

The Matilda was developed as a heavily armored infantry tank and was one of the main tanks of the British Army in North Africa during World War II. The Matilda swept aside opposing Italian tanks and was respectfully referred to by German soldiers as the "Queen of the Desert."

The TAMIYA model kit version in 1:48 scale impresses with its precision fit and attention to detail. The additional figure allows for even more realistic dioramas or scenarios.
