Article description: XF-76 IJN Grey Green matt 10ml
Tamiya X and XF acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are ideal for brush painting or for application with airbrush sprayers. These colours can be used on styrene resins, polystyrene, wood and all common model plastics. For better adhesion, Tamiya recommends priming the respective material beforehand. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and is easy to mix. Before hardening, the colour can be washed away with normal water.
Colours marked "X" have a glossy finish, while those marked "XF" are matt. For application with airbrush sprayers, the X/XF colours should be thinned with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. The X-/XF colours can also be thinned with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. This enables a faster drying result and a harder surface finish. Adding Tamiya Paint Retarder will give you a smoother paint surface after drying (max. mixing ratio 1:10).
