Honed to perfection, the Ford GT40 was a motorsport legend that dominated the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race with four consecutive victories between 1966 and 1969. Almost 50 years later and in 2015, a newcomer was welcomed with the legendary GT name, a revolutionary design on which Ford unleashed its passion for innovation: the Ford GT.
It's based on a carbon-fiber build and features a 647-hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, not to mention an aerodynamically optimized carbon-fiber body. The result is a top speed of over 347 km/h. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016, a competition model took a great class win.
