Tamiya Honda S2000

The display model is a replica of the Honda S2000. The first production car that was an open two-seater was called the S500, which was first introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1962. In 1998, the S2000 was announced, marking a sensational revival of the two-seater sports car. The car received several visual changes, such as futuristic headlights that wrapped around the sides and appeared to be retracted. The 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC-VTEC engine produces over 250 horsepower while reducing emissions to one-tenth of the level of its predecessors. The S2000 was developed to celebrate the 50th anniversary, making it a special sports car of the 21st century.
