Tamiya Grumman F-14A Tomcat Black Knights

The floor model is a replica of the Grumman F14-A Tomcat Black Knight. Since the first flight in 1970, the F-14 Tomcat of the U.S. Navy flew one of the best air defense combat, ever it was world famous. Beginning in 1990, the F-14A was additionally used for long-range missions and, with its superior weapons systems, as an air-to-ground strike aircraft. For the first time the fighter jet was used in 1984 and subsequently in 1990 during the Gulf War. From 1996, the fighter jet was equipped with a pod system, which is a weapon system equipped with infrared lasers.
