Tamiya German Jagdpanzer IV (V) Long

The stand model is a replica of the tank destroyer Jagdpanzer IV Lang. The original Jagdpanzer IV tank destroyer was based on the Panzer IV vehicle and utilized extensive sloped armor with the 7.5 cm gun of caliber 48, which had already proven effective on other vehicles. In January 1944, it was decided to upgrade the Jagdpanzer IV with the powerful 7.5 cm anti-tank gun of caliber 70 instead of the original caliber 48 weapon. This larger gun was adapted to the Jagdpanzer IV to enable it to destroy allied tanks without entering their weapon range.
