Tamiya French Medium Tank SOMUA S35

The display model is a replica of the SOMUA S35, which represents a French cavalry tank from World War II. The French tank was produced between 1936 and 1940. For the time in which the tank operated, it was a relatively agile medium tank that was superior in armor and armament to both its French and contemporary foreign versions of the German Panzerkampfwagen III. Although the SOMUA S35 could not fully demonstrate its capabilities during the Battle of France, the tank performed strongly in combat against German forces.
