The model is a replica of the French B1 bis tank, which stood in the way of German forces during their invasion of France in World War II. The B1 bis was put into production in 1937 and was an improved version of the original Char B1 from the 1920s. At its time, the B1 bis tank was the most heavily armored tank. This tank was designed to hold its own against German tanks due to its armor. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its precision fit and attention to detail.
