The model is a replica of the McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle. McDonnell Douglas was awarded the contract to develop the F-15 Eagle fighter jet in December 1969. The advanced aerodynamic design of the Eagle significantly reduced drag in both low and high lift configurations, achieving superior maneuverability under various flight conditions. An improved version of the Eagle, the F-15C, was introduced in 1979. A notable change was the increase in fuel capacity, made possible by the conformal fuel tanks located between the wings and against the jet intake ramps.
