Tamiya 1:48 WWII German Messerschmitt Me262 A-1A

The stand model is a replica of the Messerschmitt Me262 A-1A. The revolutionary Messerschmitt Me262 was the first jet-powered aircraft to enter service. The pre-production aircraft designated A-0 were first produced in 1944. In November 1944, the A-1A variant of the aircraft was released and put into production. The aircraft was equipped with 30-mm cannons in the nose to counter allied bombers and escorting fighter planes. The R4M air-to-air rockets under the wings contributed to the feared image of the German Messerschmitt.
