Product Name: 1:350 Japanese Yukikaze Destroyer
The model is a replica of the Japanese Yukikaze destroyer, which was completed on January 20, 1940. Along with its sister ships Hatsukaze, Amatukaze, and Tokitukaze, it became part of the 16th Destroyer Division under the command of the light cruiser Jintsu. At the beginning of World War II, the 16th Destroyer Division was part of the forces that captured the Philippines. On December 5, 1941, the Yukikaze participated in fierce battles with American forces near Palau and supported the invasion forces in Legazpi. As part of the post-war reparations agreement, the Yukikaze was transferred to the Republic of China and became a reserve training ship in 1966.
