The model is a replica of the GAZ-AA. The first GAZ-AA truck was produced on January 29, 1932, and it became the most numerous truck of World War II. Due to its 1.5-ton load capacity, it was nicknamed "Polutorka" ("one and a half"). The truck was incredibly durable, easy to maintain, had excellent off-road capabilities, and ran on low-octane fuel. The legendary "Polutorka" became one of the great symbols of the Great Patriotic War, alongside the T-34 tank and the Katyusha rocket launcher.
