This model kit recreates the French light tank H39 and is the fourth French model in our 1/35 military miniature series. Before World War II, the French Army developed the H35 for cavalry use, and in 1939, the H39 was introduced as an improved version of the H35. With enhanced cast parts such as the chassis and turret, the H39 was equipped with a 120-horsepower engine and a L/33 37mm gun. It was in service during the German occupation of Norway in 1940. After the French capitulation, the German forces upgraded numerous H39 tanks and deployed them as German tanks.
