Vlad (Aaron Kissiov) has just moved to Crailsfelden with his father Barnabas (Rick Kavanian) and is now the new kid at the Penner Academy, one of the most famous magical schools in the world. Crailsfelden is a fantastic place, teeming with fairies, witches, trolls, and dwarfs. With Vlad and his father, vampires are now also part of the town. But little vampire Vlad has a big problem: he can't see blood. However, Vlad is not alone in this unusual situation. Just like him, his new friends have their own fears. The fairy Faye (Johanna Schraml) suffers from a fear of flying, and Wolf, the werewolf (Arsseni Bultmann), has a pet hair allergy. So Vlad is in good company. Together, the unusual trio uncovers a conspiracy involving Mayor Louis Ziffer (Christian Berkel) and his secretary Mrs. Circemeyer (Sonja Gerhardt), which could plunge all of Crailsfelden into disaster.

A vampire boy who can't see blood, a fairy with a fear of flying, and a werewolf with a pet hair allergy. Three magical misfits! And they are the ones who must face a devilish opponent...
