Sony The Marvellous Mr Rogers - BR

The grumpy journalist Lloyd Vogel (Emmy winner Matthew Rhys, Best Actor in a Drama Series 2018, The Americans), who is primarily interested in advancing his career, is tasked with writing a portrait of the legendary children's entertainer Mr. Rogers. Initially, he is not thrilled about the assignment, but hopes for positive feedback after the article is published. In his search for skeletons in Rogers' closet or inconsistencies in his biography, the reporter discovers that the television star is truly a good person. In the process, he learns to reconnect with classic values such as kindness and compassion, overcoming his cynicism. A friendship develops between the two men, and Lloyd gains new perspectives on his own life.
