Oliver works hard for his success as a portfolio manager. However, on his way to an appointment, he takes the free opposite lane to the private fast lane and crashes into a devastating accident. Diagnosis: paraplegia. Three months of rehabilitation are meant to prepare him for a life in a wheelchair. But Oliver wants to escape this "disability prison" with poor internet as quickly as possible. In search of the strongest Wi-Fi signal, he meets a quirky disabled shared apartment called the "Goldfish Group": Magda, a blind cynic with a rough sense of humor; two autistic individuals, the 80s pop fan Rainman and the mute Michi wearing a helmet; Franzi, a confident girl with Down syndrome, along with her two caregivers, Laura, who wants to excel in her dream job after studying special education, and Eddy, who is the exact opposite: a social worker who deeply hates his job. Oliver, who now has to deal with his disability and the looming risk of his Swiss safe deposit box filled with tax-free hidden assets being discovered, realizes the advantages of positive discrimination: a trip in a disabled bus serves as the perfect cover for smuggling his black money across the German-Swiss border.
