The oversized pieces are specially designed for small children to easily understand the effects of magnetic attraction and repulsion. Older children will also enjoy using the pieces to construct towers, bridges, and other structures. The magnets are strong enough to hold 60 times their weight. The starter set includes 23 pieces and a guide to build models.
