Roden North American T-28D Trojan

The North American T-28D Trojan was an American light strike aircraft developed from the outdated T-28A type. It differed from its predecessor by featuring a more powerful 1,425 hp engine and attachment points for various types of armament under the wings, including machine guns, bombs, rockets, and napalm containers. A total of 300 units of this version were built, and they were widely used from the early 1960s to the end of the 20th century in various regions around the world, including Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The T-28D was an ideal weapon against mobile partisan troops, and its ability to operate from primitive airstrips, along with its ease of maintenance in field conditions, contributed to its lengthy military career in many countries of the developing world.
